Now you can customize the look of your bike at Urban Outfitter’s online bike shop! But…you probably need to get it shipped to Burlingham, WA., and drive down to get it, since they don’t ship to Canada (that sucks big time!)
So this is how I want my bike to be (dream up girl!) What does your design look like? Try it here: bikes.urbanoutfitters.com

Love their food and down-to-earth atmosphere, and their menus that are all bound in different vintage book covers. Brilliant!

Take Me Home.
It was a quiet afternoon when we visited the SPCA in Vancouver. We went there because we wanted to find a kitten that can keep Waffles company. As we were looking for kittens, it was amazing to see how many animals are living there under the same roof, waiting for someone to give each of them a home. They don’t talk, but you can feel their emotions through their eyes. Most of them seemed anxious, but whenever they saw someone coming towards them, they showed their excitements by barking, jumping around, robbing their bodies against the cage, or simply looking at you, nodding their heads. “Take me home,” they said.
There was a huge black dog, who kept pushing a tennis ball on the ground toward us. He wanted us to play with him! So the only thing we could do was to stick our hand inside the cage, grab the ball and throw it toward the other end of the cage. There isn’t enough room for him to have the fun to run and fetch, but he still fetched the ball with full energy and excitement, and returned the ball to us again. After several rounds, there was a connection between us. I felt that it would be so cruel to just leave him there alone with his toy. But we had to leave…
I felt so sad for those adorable animals. It’s not like visiting a zoo, where you can visit and leave without much feeling; visiting a shelter, is actually very emotional. You could build connection with sheltered animals within a few minutes, but then you have to drop it when you leave. It is hard for me, but I think it is even harder for the animals.
If I had a big farm, I would’ve taken all of them home: dogs, cats, bunnies…all of them!
